Voting in the April 4 Spring Election? Choose the option that’s right for you: at the polls, by in-person absentee ballot, or by mail absentee ballot.
Absentee Voting in Person
Absentee ballots can be cast at City Hall for the 2 weeks prior to Election Day. Absentee voting in the clerk's office ends the Friday before the election. There is no in person absentee voting on the Monday before the election.
Absentee Voting by Mail
You can vote by absentee ballot by mail. You must submit a written request containing the following information:
- Your name
- Your address
- The address the absentee ballot should be mailed to
- Your signature
You may include this information in a letter and mail to City Hall. Written applications must be received by the Thursday before Election Day.
When voting absentee, pay close attention to the included instructions. Make sure your voter information is correct, that you've signed, and that your witness has provided their name and full address clearly on the return certificate envelope

Important: If you’re voting absentee, you must mail your absentee ballot or personally deliver it by 8:00 p.m. on election day to: 800 Borner Street N, Prescott, WI 54021. Any ballot received after 8:00 p.m. on election day will not be counted.
