What is the $25 Special Charge on my taxes?

The $25 Special Charge on your tax bill is billed by Pierce County and the funds are used for the Pierce County Recylcling Center. The charge is billed to every property in the County that has at least $10,000 of improvements and it is charged on every rental unit and mobile home.
