Where can I register my autombile or light truck?
You can register an automobile or light truck online with the
Wisconsin Department of Transportation at www.dot.wi.gov if you
have registration plates to transfer from an automobile or light
truck that you previously owned to the automobile or light truck
you now own and can pay the registration fees and sales tax with a
credit card.
You can register an automobile or light truck if you have no
regiistration plates to transfer at the Pierce County Sheriff's
Office, 411 Main Street, Ellsworth, Wis. from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
Monday through Friday except legal holidays. The Prescott Police
Department does not offer motor vehicle registration services.
