| Burning Ban | The Fire Chief has issued a burning ban including recreational fires until further notice. |
| Change in Garbage Pick Up Days | NOTICE: CHANGE OF TRASH/RECYCLE SERVICE DAYS EFFECTIVE THURSDAY, MARCH 30th, 2023
We have been notified by GFL Environmental that there will be a change in service days for some of our residents. The day of service will move to THURSDAY for those living on the following streets.

| City Hall Closed - December 31 and January 1 | Prescott City Hall will be closed on Friday, December 31, 2021 and Saturday, January 1, 2022 in celebration of New Year's Day |
| Hydrant Flushing | To maintain water quality/safety and adequate fire protection, hydrant flushing will begin midweek. Before you use any water in your home, completely open a cold water spigot closest to your water meter( inside or outside) and let it flow for 5 to 10 minutes or until the water runs clear. |

| Running Water | Due to the low temperatures we are asking anyone WHO HAS had issues in the past with pipes freezing to start running water from a faucet in their home. The stream should be about the size of a pencil. |
| Snow Plowing | Public Works is working to plow the streets as soon as possible. We currently have two plow trucks down and one out plowing. Hills and main thoroughfares are being kept open. Pieces for the trucks are due to arrive after 12:30 p.m. today but still need to be put into the trucks. If plowing can't be completed today they will plow tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. |

| Volunteers To Fill Sandbags | The City of Prescott will be filling sandbags on Saturday, March 23, 2019. There will be two shifts 10am to noon and noon to 2:00 pm We need 50 volunteers for each two hour shift. If you can help please contact city hall at 715-262-5544. |
| Water Break | We have had an emergency water main break. Public Works is currently working on site. There will be a number of residents who will have their water shut off. It could be a couple of more hours. We thank you for your patience during this time. |

| Water Outage | Water is out in the area from Orrin Road along Canton Street to Hilton Street due to a water meter being broken. This is the area of St. Croix Terrace Mobile Home Park. Crews are on site working on repair now.
